AMG's GT Black Series Gets Dressed to the 9s by German OEM

German company WheelsAndMore has a somewhat generic name, but their work on this AMG GT Black Series is top notch.

It’s hard to improve on a car like the AMG GT Black Series. Built from arguably one of the best GT cars AMG has ever made, the factory version blows other Black Series cars out of the water for sheer pace. But what if you wanted your car turned to 11? One place in Germany called WheelsAndMore has done exactly that. The company name of WheelsAndMore aptly describes what they do.

When it comes to wheels, they have developed what is called the Underdock wheel. It is a hub system adapter that changes from a 5-lug setup to a race car inspired center lock system. As described by AutoEvolution, this system allows you to make the change to center lock systems without changing the hub. This is not only cost effective, but convenient. And since the adapter acts as its own spacer, wheel fitment becomes better.

Options include single piece wheels, or three piece that can be custom built based on your desires. Have something other than an AMG GT Black Series? They have you covered for wheels and tuning in regards to just about every other AMG model, and other manufacturers, too. AMG's GT Black Series Gets Dressed to the 9s by German OEM When it comes to “AndMore,” it’s all about engine tuning. The same ease of install process that we found on the wheels applies to the plug-and play system for this GT. Power is raised to 789 horsepower, and 642 lb/ft of torque. That’s up about 70 horsepower and over 50 lb/ft of torque. Top speed now tickles 209 miles per hour. AMG's GT Black Series Gets Dressed to the 9s by German OEM Unlike some other tuning companies, WheelsAndMore has decided to mostly leave the bodywork on the car alone. We’re not complaining. The AMG GT Black Series wears an aggressive body already, with functional aero front and rear. Changing that up would negatively affect the work that AMG has put into the car.
