An Artist is “Souping Up” Random Rides in Amsterdam… and It’s Hilarious

Extra 3 - 1

Though we wouldn’t say that this is necessarily the way we would like our rides to be “souped up” in the middle of the night, we’ll at least give the artist, a 24 year old named Max Siedentopf, an A+ for effort.

He has been sneaking down the Amsterdam streets in the middle of the night (between 4:30 and 5:30am, to be exact), and “improving” random vehicles using slabs of cardboard.

He seems to have mastered the technique and has grilles, “superchargers,” spoilers, and body kits in his arsenal!

Extra 3 - 2

Though we’re sure that there’s been more than a few angry commuters that came out in the morning to find their rides much “sportier” than they had left them, we have to hope, as Max does, that many of the owners can see the lighter side of things.

Who knows — maybe they’ll even leave the new decor on for awhile! Regardless of their reaction, we’re sure that any onlookers had a good laugh!

Extra 3 - 3

It’s always great to see the lighter side of things, especially when it comes to a topic like cars. Why not have a joke in there every once in awhile?

We applaud Max Siedentopf’s work, and hope that we see many more artistic endeavors in the future! Be sure to check out more of his souped up rides!
