Could This be the Official Top Gear Cast?
The telenovela that is the hunt for Top Gear‘s new cast seems to have come to a shocking end. And while that’s good news, it’s also the beginning of a long waiting period until we see their product on our tellys.
The British Broadcasting Corporation, or BBC, has finally confirmed the new seven member cast, which includes the already known Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc, but also other individuals that most of us thought were ousted as recently as last week. I’m looking at you, Sabine Schmitz.
The former ‘Drive’ host, Chris Harris was witnessed being buddy-buddy with the Top Gear production crew last weekend, which “told us” it was just a matter of time until he was confirmed. The big shocker comes courtesy of motorsports icon, Eddie Jordan, whom may be a stranger to most American households, but as a previous F1 racer, F1 team owner, and flamboyant dresser, will certainly bring a funky twist to the series.
Speaking of twists, 36 year old, Rory Reid happens to be the only non-famous cast member, as he is an automotive journalist that was selected through a 30-second video audition he submitted to the BBC. Talk about a job promotion!
