Even the Koenigsegg 1’s Wing is Incredible

If you hadn’t heard, Koenigsegg recently revealed its new flagship car: the One:1. The name refers to the cars power-to-weight ratio. Can you guess what it is? Yes, it has one horsepower for every kilogram of weight. It weighs 1,360 kg. I’ll let you figure out the rest.
This is an incredible achievement for a road car. I’m sure there’s a Caterham out there with a behemoth under the hood, or something silly, but the refinement and quality that houses the unbelievable specs is what makes this really special. Koenigsegg is going after all the records with this one.
If you think they’re bluffing, watch an episode of Inside Koenigsegg, a series on the /DRIVE network that shows you how they do what they do, led by the man himself, Christian von Koenigsegg. He speaks clearly and confidently, but in a way that is warm. What I’ve learned from watching this series is that he and his company don’t look for solutions. They look for perfect solutions. I assumed humanity had downforce all figured out at this point, but I was wrong.
