Going, Going, Gone: Aston Martin's One-77 Sold Out
Surprising absolutely no one, we now know the Aston Martin  One-77 is officially sold out in the United States. Aston’s CEO announced the news when they released their full year earnings results earlier today. Considering production was limited to only 77 cars, it’s no wonder they sold out.

The One-77 is, by far, the most exclusive Aston Martin to date. On it’s debut at the Paris Autoshow in 2009, the One-77 was defined as a technological showcase wrapped in their traditional sports car proportions. A carbon-fiber monocoque forms the base for the One-77, with hand made aluminum body panels pulled and twisted around it. The result is a body that’s as beautiful with panels as it is without. Well… Almost.

And the engine… It’s a version of the 6 liter, V12 behemoth in the DBS, DB9 and V12 Vantage thats been reworked to spit out 700 hp. The icing on the cake is that it’s 25% lighter as well. Doubtlessly Aston will apply their newly expressed technical expertise in the V12 Zagato. If the sound is anything to go by, they’ve got another winner on their hands.
