Green to Red at the Start of Baltimore

By -

The Grand Prix of Baltimore began with crash. A straight line crash.

An unfortunate chain reaction stemmed from a jumped start by the Chris Dyson’s Lola B12/60 which in turn caused a massive crash and delay at the start of today’s Grand Prix. In total, 7 cars were involved in the carnage including P2 pole sitter Scott Tucker and his Level 5 HPD car and the Falken Tire 911 GT3 RSR.

Chris Dyson jumped the start but the Muscle Milk car, piloted by Klaus Graf, waited for the green flag to drop until he put the hammer down.

Scott Tucker initially followed the lead of Dyson machine, but was blocked by the slow moving Muscle Milk car and was forced to lift. The car directly behind Tucker was Anthony Lazzaro, tried to pass Tucker on the left.

Too little, too late as Lazzaro spun Tucker. Calamity ensued.
