Hot Take: This Pokémon Wrap on a Porsche Actually Works

‘Jigglypuff Pink’ Porsche 911 GT3 was spotted in Boston this week. We think the color actually works.

Ignoring the blatant middle finger to the surrounding structures in case of an emergency, this Porsche 911 GT3 gracefully wears Jigglypuff Pink. As Reddit user “eastbeast” points out in the r/pokemon subreddit, this “JigglyPorsche” owner is collecting parking tickets. If Pokémon Go was still popular, this would be the perfect car to catch all the wild Pokémon. Paired with the matte black wheels, we personally think the Jigglypuff wrap works well on the 911 GT3.

Wraps have been used to customize cool cars for years. Several JDM cars have wraps with anime characters on the side, or cherry blossom trees, etc. The fact that it’s a Porsche 911 participating in the eccentric wrap game is polarizing the enthusiasts. Some think the wrap is complimentary, while some purists think the paint job is sacrilegious. Several of the comments were about the choice in a parking spot. TheCapOfficial commented, “Remember kids, Fairy Pokémon are weak to Steel attacks!” in reference to the fact that a fire truck could bust the windows to gain access to the hydrant.

One comment by VibraniumRhino, which received over 30 replies, said, “Meh, owning a Porsche isn’t what it used to be. I think more people would be impressed by this at this point, outside of car hobbyists. I know I am.” Naturally, many users jumped in to defend the driver, saying the wrap would look cool on anything. Many referred to the famous Pink Pig Porsche, that sports a similar pastel pink color with decals replicating the locations of choice cuts on a pig.

If you’re in Boston and own this cool Jiggyporsche, the people also want to know: if you honk the horn, does the Sing melody play? If so, your terrible choice in a parking spot is forgiven. If not, then you’ve got some work to do to further win over the Pokémon fans.
