How to Outrun the Police, Which You Definitely Should Never Try

Many have tried to outrun the police, and most have failed. Here’s how to pull off the perfect heist.

We’ve all certainly seen our fair share of police chases, many of which are quite entertaining. Heck, out in California, is seems like there’s at least one per day. And we’ve all dreamed of using our superior driving skills to outmaneuver law enforcement, escaping in a ridiculous manner that would make the producers of the Fast and Furious movies proud. Drive smart, and for as short a period of time as possible. It also helps to have a surprise in store, like the guy that drove into a Metro tunnel, where the police chose not to follow. Then, you’ll make a clean getaway and move on to step five, which is learning to order adult beverages in Spanish. And perhaps working on that novel you’ve always wanted to write?
