The Least Favorites: 2014 Subaru WRX

Blasphemy, I know, considering Subaru is readily calling this their best iteration of the WRX nameplate yet. From what I’m reading, I’m inclined to agree, but what’s griping me here is how overpromised and underdelivered the WRX was in the styling department. The concept was gorgeous, absolutely everything that could have gone right to smash this market segment into pieces in a great way. Instead, Subaru’s defaulted back to their “performs better than it looks” mantra. Noting the photo here is a lot more photogenic than the WRX looks in person.
