If you’re in the Los Angeles area this Sunday, head down to Old Town Pasadena for the Concorso Ferrari 2013. I’ve never made it this annual gathering, but the folks I talked to at the Petersen’s Ferrari Cruise In back in February told me this is a spectacular event, and expect 150 Cavalinos from every era of Modena’s storied history. Of course, there will be Enzos, F40s and every flavor of 458, 430 and 360. But if you live in California, you’ve probably seen loads of those.

At the Petersen, I poured over the Daytonas, which I never appreciated—the fake one on Miami Vice scarred me—until recently, and I even got to sit in a magnificently original 250 GT Lusso. From my perspective the ’50s and ’60s cars, with their symphonic small-displacement V12s and eye-watering emissions—like the ’57 Testa Rossa above—will be the stars of the show.

Check out the video below for a taste of what to expects, and look for plenty of pics on Monday. But this show is probably something you should see firsthand. Let me know if you’re going to be there by commenting on this thread or chiming in below!
