Lamborghini Minivan-Driving Idiot Kills Lamborghini Huracan Performante

Perfectly timed series of events leads to the untimely death of a Lamborghini Huracan. And amazingly, no one else.

In our humble opinion, minivans are the scourge of the earth. Boring, boxy, rolling admissions that you used to, in fact, be cool. But then, somewhere along the way, things got away from you and you chose a life of diapers and Friends reruns over supercars and trips to exotic locations. But hey, that’s not our fault. And it certainly doesn’t give you permission to become the D-bag of the year by essentially turning a Lamborghini Huracan Performante into a massive fireball.

Yes, this is one of those “how in the heck did that happen” stories. And for once, the Lambo was completely innocent. It all started when a gent and fellow Lambo owner by the name of Parker Gelber pulled into a gas station in Kirkwood, Missouri to fuel up and grab some refreshments. Gelber had a bit of an issue with his card at the pump, so he went inside in what is perhaps the first part of some pretty incredible luck. Next thing you know, Gelber looked outside and noticed a huge fireball.

Turns out, Gelber is a pretty lucky guy. Because it wasn’t his Lamborghini that was burning, but the one belonging to the guy that pulled in behind him. The culprit, according to bystanders, was a minivan-driving moron who drove off with the nozzle still inserted into his dream-crushing ride. Maybe he was thinking about how badly his life sucks. Perhaps his wife and/or kids were yelling at him and distracted him. Or maybe it was all of the above.

Fuel from the severed pump reportedly sprayed directly into the engine bay of the blue Lamborghini Huracan, which ignited instantly, according to Gelber’s Facebook post. Fortunately (and amazingly), no one was hurt in the incident. Except the Lambo, of course, which is a total loss. Sadly, the minivan driver apparently won’t be facing charges, according to The River Front Times. But he is guilty of being a total jerk in our own personal court of opinion, if nothing else.
