Reason #1,347 to Not Valet Your Car
As car enthusiasts, we have it on pretty good authority that it’s a bad idea to have your car valet parked. Unfortunately, in some parts of the country, and the world, it’s impossible to go to a particular place and not have the car valet parked.
When you hand over your keys, you hope that your car is in capable hands as the attendant drives off to a nearby parking structure to leave your precious baby. The owner of this Ferrari 599 GTO in Rome is probably regretting handing the keys off to a valet this day, because the end result is horrific.

According to the report, the car is owned by a Dutch tourist who was in Rome for a supercar rally. The valet “got confused” and pressed the accelerator instead of the brake. While I’m sure that driving a Ferrari is a unique experience, the gas and brake pedals are in the same place.
The valet attendant was treated for shock at a nearby hospital, and we don’t think the Dutch tourist will be completing the supercar rally anytime soon.
