MY RIDE! 2011 Porsche Turbo S PDK

Jumping into the world of German engineering can be a rather interesting transitions. Whether one’s previous ride was American, Japanese, or something else entirely, it doesn’t really matter. What does is that German rides are an entirely different breed, and adjusting to them can be a bit of a complicated, albeit enjoyable, transition. That’s not to say that these rides are better than any of the other fast and fun rides around the globe, but rather that they are surprisingly unique.

Today we’ll be stepping into the garage of 6SpeedOnline member Lawrence, who is also known by his username 99Gdzra, and taking a closer look at his ride that lies within!

Lawrence is brand new to the world of German rides, but that doesn’t mean that he loves his 2011 Porsche Turbo S PDK any less! He came from a 1,000 horsepower C7 Corvette, so we’re sure that the transition is an interesting one, though maybe not entirely unwelcome. His new ride is painted in Meteor Gray and sports a Carrera Red interior. With fourteen thousand miles on the odometer and a bit of modifications, this Porsche is definitely impressive!

When he bought it, the car had a clear car bra on the hood, fenders, and mirrors, a K40, a Europipe, and a mild tune. Lawrence took the ride to a Dyno the day after the purchase, and clocked the ride at 514 horsepower and 532 foot-pounds of torque. That’s definitely not too shabby! What’s more is that he took it to the drag races recently and ran an 11.14 second quarter mile at 127 miles per hours!
