See the Panamera Sport Turismo on Video

Porsche let the Panamera shooting brake out of the bag yesterday, but those shots were only stills of concept pics. Still, we have more information and a video courtesy of Evo magazine.

The Panamera Sport Turismo concept marks several firsts for Porsche. It’s the first wagon they’ve ever built and it’s also their first plug-in hybrid. Obviously it’s not their first hyrbid (the Elektromobil takes that honor), but it is a preview of where Porsche wants to go with their hybrid plans in the future. Porsche is way past the point where they sacrifice performance for fuel economy. Both the Panamera Hybrid and the Cayenne Hybrid are proof of that.

This new concept eclipses Porsche’s current offerings by with 67mpg and 410hp. That places it just short of the Panamera GTS while handily obliterating the mileage of every single other model of Porsche… Ever? 

Yeah, it’s a concept, but how could they not build it. Beautiful, fast, and frugal? That’s the definition of a hit. Check it out in glorious HD below.
