The Ferrari LaFerrari is an amazingly brilliant hypercar. It’s no limp wristed hybrid that is here to save the supercar or the planet, it just uses Ferrari engineering combined with electricity to turn gasoline and energy into outright speed.

Just when we thought the McLaren P1 couldn’t get any sexier, it goes and puts on some lacey red and black underwear. Oooff.

The DJ known as DeadMau5, also known as Joel Zimmerman, has quickly become the darling of the automotive media. Not only because he wrapped his Ferrari 458 with a Nyan Cat livery, or that he renamed said 458 as a Purrari. But also because he’s quickly stockpiling a fairly awesome number of collector cars to his fleet.

In the last few years, track cars have become increasingly popular here in the United States. They’ve been popular abroad for quite some time, although we’re just starting to catch on to the entire fad.

In their latest Head-2-Head video, the folks at Motor Trend put race car driver Randy Pobst behind the wheel of both the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder to do hot laps around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

The McLaren P1 GTR costs $2 million. You can’t drive it on the roads. It has 986 horsepower from the dual electric gas turbocharged V8 engine. And has the ability to warp both time and space.
