Fast forward to the present and McLaren is at it again, except this time with their hybrid hypercar the P1. To celebrate the car’s race iteration launch, the P1 GTR, McLaren brought the two supercars together for a little track fun.
TopGear Magazine is test driving the hierarchy of hypercars: a Ferrari LaFerrari, a Porsche 918 Spyder, and a McLaren P1. You can bet your pink-slips we’ll be keeping track of this track race.
McLaren’s smallest car is set to take the world by storm in the next few months. Using the same 3.8L twin turbo-charged V8 found in the P1, 12C and 650S, the new Sport Series McLaren will be set to take on smaller rivals like Porsche and Mercedes.
