If you’re a fan of The Fast and the Furious franchise, but are looking for more than just the new movie every two years, we have good news for you! Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is currently working on a television show in the style of The Fast and the Furious.

Said to be called “Boost Unit,” the show is going to show up on Fox and be a mix of FX’s Rescue Me and The Fast and the Furious, following a young recruit in the LAPD’s auto theft task force. He’s said to have a notorious and dangerous past, boosting cars and living on the edge.

Basically, we’re expecting this to be a bunch of plain clothes wearing police officers driving some pretty sweet cars under the context of preventing auto theft. As long as Dwayne Johnson gives someone a Rock Bottom at some point during the series, I’ll be happy.

It’ll be interesting to see how The Rock fits into those small sports cars, or if he’ll being driving around a G Wagon?
