Pretty close to what a similar car did out here today....I think it made ~20 more ftlbs, but the hp was very close.

Hey Tony, thanks for hosting the East Coast dyno day today. I had a great time!

I am wondering if the Mustang dynos could have been calibrated differently, or could the cooler weather on the east coast today be a factor?

My car with chip, intake, exhaust had about 420hp and 480tq whereas a seemingly similar car in Torrance showed about 400hp and 430tq?

or maybe I am not reading this properly, and AWHP is a different unit than what is under "Maximum Power" on the printout?

2 LARGE factors that can lead to difference in results:

91 oct vs 93 oct

It was very cold in the shop today.

Could be a couple of reasons...it was in the high 50s out here in So Cali when we dynoed and we have 91 octane gas.

I have GIAC Stage 2 programming, Cargraphic exhaust, Evo intake, and RWD conversation which resulted in 397RWHP & 424RWTQ. I think I would have been closer to 420RWHP but my car pulled timing at around 5,000rpm which slowed my peak HP.

Elliot,

What mods and ECU tune do you have compared to Alan's car?
Are you both running AWD?

Thanks,
nice runs!

Here are the results guys....

Thanks for the great time Tony! It was great making new friends as well as catching up with old ones....

Marty: I am using a Proto Tune with their "600 package" @1.0 bar, pump fuel, no boost controller or upgraded actuators and K16/stock intercoolers.

I will be dynoing again after I install the rest of the "650" package in a few weeks (Greddy EBC, Actuators, Blown6 IC's and EVO Exhaust manifolds)
