Hey Guys,

I know that this Question is a little like, how long is a piece of string??

However I was hoping someone may be able to assist?

"How long is a piece of string".......It really depends on how long your measuring tape is!!!
SERIOUSLY, I've seen a basket case rust bucket Speedster go for 65K. On the other end of the spectrum, nice Speedsters needing very little if nothing done are going for 150 and up. Of course if we bring in a 4 cam motor into the picture you can double or even triple the price.
We sold our 55 Speedster to Nicolas Cage for 118,000 last year, me thinks too cheap. Now that it has a "celebrity" owner, it will sell for a whole bunch more when he sells it!

Wow Nicolas cage. Did yo know he was the buyer??

Because that was have instantly meant my price would have gone up if I was selling it to him!

A year or so ago, that was a fair price for our Speedster. It didn't really matter to me who bought it, I just wanted to sell it and I sold it for a bunch more than I paid for it. Nick buys cars like you and I buy groceries, and he knew what he was buying.
A similar situation happened a few years ago at the Porsche Lit Show in LA. A famous TV actor and Porsche collector was there buying goodies. I heard the other vendors talking about raising their prices because here "he" comes. I did NOT raise my prices and actually cut the price on the several items he bought from me. I guess that gesture impressed him, and because of that we became friends. Unlike the the others that made a couple of bucks extra!

Hey Michael,
Nah, I really don't hang out at Tiki or anywhere for that matter too much. When I get my "time" at the computer, it's usually just 356/993 OR Mini sites to see what's going on.
As far as "what do I do", JoAnne says pretty much NOTHING!
I owned Fast Lane Scales Models back in the 90s and still have alot of inventory left. Porsche models etc. So I set up my stuff at the Porsche Memorabilia Show and generate a little moola.
The next one is coming up in Feb.
