Yellow calipers

I am changing my suspension tomorrow to a complete H&R kit. I am thinking of painting my calipers yellow but I cannot decide if I should or not... What do you all think?

If the calipers are large then I think it looks really good...I had 6-piston calipers on my 300Z twin turbo with yellow calipers and it looked really good...red is nice too, but a little to common for me...

I painted my calipers yellow on my 911 a couple of years ago. I think they look good against the black car with polished Fuchs with black cores. Of course I'm biased...ha....ha. Click on the above link to see what they look like.

Is your car midnight blue or black? I can't tell from the pics. I got a black 996 and it looks really good. It depends on the wheels you have also. Yellow calipers really stand out from rims that are either black, or a wheel that really exposes the brakes. From your pics, i would stick with factory black brakes unless you're thinking of changing wheels too.

I asked the body shop to do them yellow, I guess we had a miscommunication because when I got back they were red. Anyways, I put the brembo stickers on and it looks great.

It was Dupli-Color Caliper Paint w/Ceramic. It was just called "yellow" with no specific name modifier. You can find it on their website at www.duplicolor.com. It took several coats to completely cover the cast caliper metal. It comes in a kit with caliper cleaner and a brush. Good luck.

On a black car, either black or yellow...I opted black for mine but I wanted low key. Yellow if you have the wheels to show them off!

Nice car, I can see why you stayed with black. I have Fuchs, so there are pretty good size wholes in the wheels that let the calipers show through when you are on the road. Your BBS's (correct me if I'm wrong) don't have a lot of openings to show off the calipers.....your car looks awesome......looks like a screamer.....Pipes
