master cylinder rebuild kit

i am looking for a master cylinder rebuilt kit for my 1974 911. is a rebuild ok or should i buy a new master cylinder? i'm having a hard time finding the kit tho so i might have to get a new one. what are your thoughts on "quality" of new ones. the prices range by about a hundred dollars. i don't wanna get a cheapy but if the quality is comparable then why not. any thoughts or experiences.

I bought a new master cylinder when I replaced my old one. I don't think they make the rebuild kits for the 19mm m.c. anymore.
