window motor electrical connection - 1988 911

I am ready to pull out what little hair I have left. I need to replace the passenger side window motor in my 1988 911. Before pulling the whole regulator and motor assemble out I wanted to do one last test to make sure the wires from the switch to the motor aren’t the problem. I have not seen this type of connector before and have tried everything to release this connector. As my frustration builds, I’m afraid that I might break the connector. Attached is a picture of the motor showing the connection on the motor. I can wiggle the connector but can’t get it to release….please help.
