Got Some New Rollers for the 996TT :)
I have to agree... its kind of hypocritical... people will put Iforge wheels on their porsches which are well known for being basically crap, while a volk wheel has some of the highest quality standards out of any wheel available but because their made in japan all of a sudden its against god's will to put them on a porsche.
High quality lightweight function over form any day. Just my .02.

The are certain wheels companies that are associated with certain genre of vehicles, volks represent the import (japanese) tuner sect more than any other manufacturer you can mention, if you go to Hot Import Nights you will see volks galore and I think there is a stigma that the wheels are cheap if everyone has them, especially in the tuner industry. I dont like how volks look most of the time one peice, one color, very little appeal to me. It seems like they fit tuner cars well to me for some reason I cant explain.
This is just my opinion but I'm sure several people share the same opinion, hence the replay's. Techarts have a classic beauty to them that has been associated with the porsche brand for years and not every person is concerned solely with performance number and I for one have seperate track wheels so the weight of my DD wheels are not really and issue. You will NOT find many volks on Porsches and that is because of what they represent and a lot to do with how they look.

I doubt you see volks on porsches unless they come out with some different styles, the tuner styles will not fit the tastes of porsche owners as demonstrated here. When it comes to a track wheels for me it has to be light sturdy and look sharp, and not cost a lot of money (to get beat up) if it meets those requirements I'm in but you will not see the same volks that you see on tuner cars on porsche, not very many of them.
I like these though.
