964 Master Brake Cylinder replacement/rebuild

Does anyone have a source to find either; new MBCs, rebuilt MBCs or rebuild kits? Specifically I am looking for part number 964-355-01503 for my 1990 911 C2. I believe the part was used from 1990-1994 and is specific to the C2 as the C4 has a different MBC.

I would really appreciate any assistance you can offer.

Thank you.

Bueller, Bueller?

Really no opinions or direction?

The master brake cylinders have to wear out eventually, what do people do to rebuild or source them?

Thanks,
Ken

Search for 96435501503 so without dashes. You will find suppliers. Not cheap!!

Yes Google is your friend..... except I have searched all over the Internet and everytime sites say they have one, they really don't. I now this seems on the surface to be a simple search, purchase, replace situation but I assure you it is not. So if anyone has a known good, rebuilt or dare say new MBC please contact me. weissk911 at g mail dot com

Long over due update, I did locate one in Germany after many trial and tribulations. And no simply Googling it doesn't lead to an actual available part. The car has been running strong.

Ola-

At the end of the day my initial issue was a long brake pedal which put me through all kinds of research. The fix for me was not the MBC but replacing my rear rotors. Yup, they looked fine but were past the minimum thickness which created the long travel for the brake pedal. I was not successful rebuilding my MBC but I was successful in finding a factory overhauled unit and traded mine as a core. If you need further information shoot me a PM.

Good luck!
Ken
