Radar cruise control sucks it sets off mine and everyone elses radar detector and why would I buy a Porsche if I wanted a car to drive itself? That spot appears a perfect place to mount a thermal imager, anyone ever thought of trying something like this?

FLIR PathfindIR, it appears available with either NTSC or PAL output, I'm presuming the PAL will work of the display, but I also think its a recipe for disaster trying to hijack the main nav screen, a separate screen dedicated to the FLIR seems a smarter choice, I'm wondering is it worthwhile, someone around here muust have tried the systems available on the Hummer, cadillac or BMW

FLIR's system is first class. I don't see a problem routing the signal through the NAV screen. As far as the screen is concerned the signal is no different from a back-up camera's signal.
