I don't see the actual run, I'm surprised the trap isn't slightly higher. Awesome 1/4 time though!

This was a problem we ran into when drag testing past Turbos we've built.

The NHRA has specific guidelines on what saftey features are needed for certain E.T.'s. According to this pdf, cars that go 10.0 - 10.99 at that trap speed will require a roll bar and anything over 135mph will require a full roll cage.

There were rumors they were going to widen the window since stock cars were getting so much faster, but I guess not.

Have a look: http://www.nhra.com/userfiles/file/2...erenceCard.pdf

Maybe the rollbar from the GT3 will fit. Porsche should make it standard fare if they're going to build a car with that kind of power.

They did change it. There is an exemption for "unaltered 2008 OEM model year and newer production cars".

Not sure why you thought that was a "rumor".

That looked like a great run! Would love to see the time slip to see what 60' they got. It looked like a solid 1.6X with no wheel spin.

They didn't say any other performance numbers, they posted the timeslip on their FB page.

With 1.51 60ft, i would think that 0-60 is something redicilus like 2.5 secs or something!!!!
