Welcome aboard and well done, great number! Kanoo just did 10.50 with ESMotor ES600 Package. Looking forward to seeing more impressive numbers with when the basic stage 1 bolt-ons.

 

Good ET but sure would like to see a faster trap speed. There are guys with M6's that do 130 mph trap with 11.5 ET. I wonder what can be done to improve that?

 

thanks for the welcome , Kanoo did their 10.5 in a TTS not a TT. and i think it was a ES650 package.

we're going to try and modify a bit more to get a better Trap.

 

during our testing we got a 209.8 trap but our quarter mile was at 10.9 .. with an aftermarket full exhaust i believe a better trap speed will be within reach.

 

I know that in a straight up race ET matters most but IMO the faster car has the faster trap. That is the kind of trap I would expect with a tune, that's 130mph. I have done 10.9 ET with 125.1 mph trap in 1805 DA. I have the FVD exhaust with high flow cats but no tune yet. I am planning to put the FVD piggyback and IPD plenum on in the next couple of weeks.

 

I don't mean to rain on your parade, but we did 10.53 @ 129 with just our Stage 1 software and street exhaust on our Turbo (not Turbo S). Street tires and 93 octane pump gas. I have the slips, I can post them if you want. DragTimes was there at the track and filmed, but I'm not sure why they never updated their site.

We're going back to the track hopefully in a few days to test the Stage 2 software, so hopefully we'll have some more good news.

 

That is just amazing. Can't wait to see how I run on Saturday.

 

please post them if you have them , im a big drag fan .. id love to see the slips or a video just to see how weather / different tracks impact the quarter mile of the 991 TT .


we're planning already for another mod sometime soon .. and we expect better results too. only problem is over here is humidity and HEAT.

do you guys by any chance use vbox as a bench mark? and if u do can u post some pics?

The heat is a huge problem for us too in the summer. We usually wait until winter to go to the drags, so the temperatures are at least down in the 80's (fahrenheit). In the summer it's just miserable...95-100 degrees and 100% humidity...even at night!

These runs were in early July I believe...so the conditions weren't the best. I think the temp was in the mid-80's somewhere, but it was very humid.
