FABSPEED MOTORSPORT | 991 Turbo Tuning Power Kit - Available NOW!
As many of you know, a little while ago we released some information about our new tuning module for the 991TT (I have attached the press release below) I just wanted to bump this up and let everyone know that we have a few of these in stock and ready to ship! We also have our 991TT exhaust systems in stock as well! Talk about a great performance combination when paired together...
OVERVIEW
Fabspeed Motorsport is pleased to announce the release of the ultimate tuning solution for the Porsche 991 Turbo platform. After months of development, programming, and dyno testing, Fabspeed has finally created a tuning solution that provides massive performance increases in a discreet and easy-to-install package. 991 Turbo owners now have the ability to pull the full performance potential from their engines, without having to remove or modify the currently non-tunable ECU units from the vehicle.
TECHNOLOGY
Fabspeed’s tuning kit functions as a go-between, intercepting and adapting the signals from three key engine sensors and relaying the modified information to the factory ECU, where it is then interpreted and acted upon. These adapted signals allow the ECU to increase the boost pressure and fuel pressure, and balance them with increased air flow.
COMPETITION
Fabspeed’s proprietary harness kit and tuning module allow these kits to communicate flawlessly with the Porsche’s various systems; removing the need to modify the factory ECU! Fabspeed’s Engine Tuning Power Kit is the single-best option for coaxing maximum power and efficiency from the Porsche 991 Turbo power plant.
Please feel free to PM or email me at Joe.Neill@Fabspeed.com with inquires and further questions.

How about giving us some of the tech info here. We're all ears regarding upgrades in power/torque and 0-62 performance.
And, all the other stuff, too ... like: can we install it easily, or do we have to have a shop do the deed / detectable / reversible.
You know .. all the usual questions.
We have seen peak horsepower gains of 50WHP and 65 FT/LBS TQ. Even more impressively - we have seen gains of 90WHP and 90 FT/LBS TQ in the mid-range!
0-60 time was 3.1 seconds -blowing the tires off (street tires in freezing cold weather).
We have an installation guide for the module, this is something you could do at home, but we recommend professional installation if you are not comfortable doing so. This module is undetectable (once removed), and most definitely reversible.
Traditional tuning outfits are unable to offer a tune for these cars, as the current Porsche ECU units prevent bench-flashing and traditional tuning methods.
COUGH! GIAC...... cough
Jesus. Do you think we are all idiots here? You lose a lot of credibility when you say things that are known to be untrue. GIAC can bench flash and OBD flash. Been doing it on 991s for quite some time.

False. You should really double check before spreading false information.
GIAC has been OBDII and bench flashing the 991 Turbo and Turbo since the cars were released in 2014.

As stated above, (twice now) this thread is a copy of the original press release from when we were first launched the product.
I have now updated the press release in this thread.
