Hello,

I was wondering how evoms compare to other tunes out there. Does anyone know if their tunes are piggybacks or uploaded to ecu in past?

Does anyone have experience with evoms tune from a 997tt? If so any comments?

I heard they are working on a tune for the 991tt.

EVOMS has tuned every Porsche I've owned. My current car is a 997.2 turbo with an EVOMS OBDII tune and made 633tq/650hp at the wheels (no other mods). When I was at EVOMS last they were tuning a 991 turbo.

The EVOMS website only has headers and converter valves for the 991 911 Turbo right now. No mention of a software tune. Sounds good if 633tq/650hp at the wheels was the result on a 997 TTS.

Wonder if an aftermarket exhaust would make any difference? My TTS had a GMG exhaust and no other mods, currently.

Might have to contact them.

 

The turbo is fed 95 octane only.

 

That does make a difference. I'm tuned for 91.

Premium unleaded around here is 93.

 

The station I go to has quite a selection of fuel at the pump: 87/89/91/95/100. The 95 is running $5.29/gal and the 100 is $7.29/gal.

 

We have been quietly working away on the 991 Turbo and Turbo S this winter, and will have some products ready for release very shortly. Stay tuned.

 

I couldn't live there. I would go broke on 100 octane and tire changes.
