The carbon fiber airbox

Fitment is guaranteed, Airbox geometry is 3D scanned, then optimized and mating to the factory air inlet pipes is perfect. The 100% carbon fiber AWE Tuning Porsche 991 Turbo and Turbo S S-FLO Carbon Intake is crafted from high grade 2x2 carbon fiber and boasts UV stabilized clear coat to prevent yellowing from under hood heat.

The smooth carbon fiber tubes inside the 100% enclosed air box provide a less restrictive path to the factory inlet pipes - in other words, when combined with the S-FLO Filter, we’re talking 22 hp and 22 ft-lbs of torque at the crank.

The AWE Tuning S-FLO Filter

The dual S-FLO Filters were specifically designed to maximize airflow in the AWE Tuning S-FLO Carbon Intake. The cleverly engineered S-FLO Filters increase surface area, resulting in increased airflow to your engine. Intake noises are also augmented, a subtle reminder of the engineering tucked beneath the carbon shell.

Power

Our carbon fiber airbox is not just for good looks, the AWE Tuning S-FLO Intake is optimized to keep IAT's consistently low to maximize power. The engine bay temperature of the 991 Turbo and Turbo S rapidly rises under full throttle acceleration. Closed course testing revealed that without the insulation of the carbon fiber S-FLO airbox, the engine would be ingesting air almost 10 degrees F hotter. The insulating effects of the S-FLO Intake, along with its superior aerodynamics and higher capacity air filters, results in peak power gains of 6 HP and 17 TQ and maximum power gains of 22 HP @ 5830 rpms vs stock.

I would love to hear this to see if there is an increase in intake noise. Any clips of it with stock exhaust?

I have this love it all around! Car definitely seems to breath easier at our altitude. Cant really tell any additional sound one way or another. AWE, you need to work on the install guide a bit as we had to do some guesswork. just my .02

I'm really interested in the s-flo Carbon intake, but the issue I faced when I placed my order that the website says it shipped to US and Canada. I'm from United Arab Emirates.
