Dropped off my car to get Sambo's by design stage III completed

Dropped off car to have Sambo Stage III installed, was impressed with Kline Exhaust and Cobb Stage II and decided to move to stage III. The full stage three will include Kline Inconel exhaust headers back (catless), IPD Y pipe, plenum and Cobb III. It is exciting to have these options available for the 991.

Hoping to have car back this weekend and will post full review.

Excellent! So you will have these in time for the October 7 Atco meet?

Congrats!!!! Can't wait to see how fast she runs. What tires are you running on at Atco? I ask because with all the new power it may give you trouble and getting out of the whole clean if you're not running something or compound. I found my pilot super sports which could handle the GIAC Stage 2 tune were not capable of really handling the GIAC stage 2+ in the morning when the weather was cool. In the afternoon when it warms up the traction was better

I hope you are putting on some MPSC2 on your Turbo S!

Going to pester you for videos. The funnest part is driving the car around with the full Kline set up on no boost and pretending it's a GT3 enjoying that music. Then punching it and getting the best of both worlds!

Did we pass the cruising/phone call/wifey happy/no drone/I'm not 16 any more/Dr. Jekyll test with the decat?

True Beast mode!

With any issues you can have Sam @ By Design send a file to soften the LC and configure a tune which dials back the RPMs on launch to better utilize the power throughout launch and 60 foot.

I also understand Jon @ Cobb will make himself available to anyone interested in better dialing their Cobb tune in during the event (Incredible!). I have 10 tunes on my AP, it can hold up to 100.

Because of work I can't make Atco, let me know of any other events. I still have the original tires, it seems that everything else is out of stock.

The sound is amazing, cruising in normal mode the sound is slightly deeper and feels more responsive.

In sport mode the car feels like a GT2, but faster, on hard accelaration the exhaust screams and the front of car feels like it is going to lift.

Sports plus the exhaust is head turner, lots of incredible pops, a head a turner.

The Kline exhaust is by far my favorite upgrade, the sound is in there with spirited driving and passes the wife test, it has a split personality.

This weekend, I will do some data logging and sending results to Sam and Cobb, Sam and the guys at Cobb are always responsive. The Cobb tune is convenient and adds incredible power, with the stage II I was pinned to the seat on hard acceleration. I brought the AP to the shop and added the By Design stage 3, it took a total of three minutes, I was supprised with SOP addtional power.

I'm sorry to hear you won't be making the event at Atco. I think you were the only cobb stage III car coming unless I'm wrong.

Congrats on the mods. She sounds like a beast.

I sure as hell need them for events. I had so much trouble in the morning getting off the line cleanly at The runway event. In the afternoon it was much better due to the warmer temperatures.

I also learned from reading here that I screwed up one thing at the runway. I didn't turn the traction control off which I now understand slows down the run a bit. I won't make that mistake again.

Actually if I were actually racing for times I made another mistake. On the run that I lost against the cobb car I had a passenger who is about 150 pounds (my son) while the cobb car was empty. On the run where I beat the Cobb car both cars were empty of passengers. The driving force club event is just a fun run kind of event as they're not taking any times or monitoring the start line for jumping and red lighting people. Members regularly take passengers from the crowd or from their friends.

And I made one more mistake. I didn't put my gopros on my car until the afternoon and the runs against the cobb car were in the morning. As a result all the Cobb fans ignore the run where I beat the Cobb car and act as if it didn't happen. The owner of the Cobb car had his camera on his car during the runs as I recall but says the video is not available of the run where I beat him. I suppose it's my bad for not putting my cameras on in the morning.

Once I put my cameras on in the afternoon I recorded every run and posted every one of them including my one loss (to the Huracan--I won the other two or three races against him) rather than just posting my wins.

The Beauty of the Atco day is that we will have a unlimited runs and only about 20 cars to 25 cars which will allow people to have as many Cobb versus GIAC runs as they want.
