Slipstream's East Coast call out at Pocono Raceway--Who's Going??
As many of you know, a week from Saturday on October 17, Slipstream Racing Events will hold its East Coast Call Out 1500 foot roll race event at Pocono Raceway for the horsepower class under 750 wheel which means our cars.
I will be there with my car and my son Victor who will be a passenger the whole time. Who else is going? Will be great to have some roll races between our cars where traction is not an issue and it's simply all about horsepower.
One of the purposes of East Coast Call Out is the ability for participants to call out cars they would like to race. I definitely want to race RobRob's Cobb Stage 3/ByDesign intercoolers 991 TTS. Would love to race it the first race out when the cars are cool and then the next two races to see how the ICs function comparatively in the real world. Based on the Dyno results I expect to be in his rearview mirror quickly LOL.
Would also love to see some Cobb stage two cars there as the races between JohnMorgan's car and mine were so close. I love close races the most.
The event is sold out so it's really a question of who's already going. The roll racing continues on Sunday with over 750 wheel horsepower cars but obviously none of our cars produce that.

I will definitely be there, rushing the car to get ready for this week didn't work out to well but everything is getting sorted out at RSW as we speak. Had some boost leaks that needed sealing, I am itching to drive this thing!

Yea that sounds great let's do it. Also, I'm not that far from you. If you ever want to meet up we can do a few undisclosed location runs and see what happens! Should have the car back tonight all sealed up...

By the way, it's great that you're bringing your son with you. My brother is going to come with me. I weigh 230 and he weighs 190, not sure how that matches up with your weights combined but it seems close to me.

Thanks buddy! Just took my HRE's off, it would've looked even better with them on!

I would be OK with running in Mexico but since were going to be at the track in a week that's probably less risk for me. And if your Dyno runs prove themselves in the real world my car is getting destroyed LOL. Plus the week of driving will ensure that everything in your car is shaken down and sorted out and that it is running at its full potential for the race. See if you can grab a passenger for our runs because between myself and my son I've got about 410 pounds worth of people in the car. And a big weight difference is good for a couple of car lengths
