This may be a dumb question, but are some of those stickers from sponsors? How does one get paid sponsors for such an event?

 

Yes. All the major rallies have paid sponsors. It helps big time to defray the cost of the event or, depending on the rally, to line the organizer's pockets.

Corsa's prices are incredibly reasonable for what it offers. That is only possible With sponsors. For example, this May, Corsa is doing the Dragon 1100 rally from NYC to DC to Knoxville, through Tail of the Dragon to Hilton Head and then optionally, another night in Hilton Head and then ending in Tampa. The cost is only $2500 of you end in HIlton Head or $3500 if you stay another night in Hilton Head and end in Tampa. And they stay in 4 and 5 star hotels.

There is no way they could do it for that price without sponsors.

I will be on Dragon with RedGutz. TOD is on my bucket list. Hope to see some of my fellow Turbo/Turbo S owners from 6speed too
