Nice run that is quick! The stock cars or the ones with less tq do really well down the first half.

Very fast for a stock 991 TTS. From a roll an FBO E85 GTR was faster than my car when it had the initial nonpublic GIAC Stage 2+ and when I was running the IPD plenum. Now that I have the more powerful public release version of that and the stock plenum I need a rematch. My car will take out an E85 FBO GTR in the quarter mile from a dig

What are you guys smoking? That was me in my Stage 2 + Giac.
I was running 265/325 MSC2 and never could hook up. My fastest 0 to 60 ' time were 1.69 sec that night. I was even spinning wheels when I hit second gear. Bought some MTs 335s for Jan 17 SreetCarDrags. What tires should on run on front wheels? I have Trofeo R 245 and both 245 and 265 MSC2 >
what do you think.

Wow not a great ET or trap. Your car is now powerful enough that launch is a real problem. What pressures were you running? The Mickeys seem like a great idea. I think Mark Blackwell's 10.19 run with similar mods (although he was not running with the IPD plenum and I think you may still have it) was with the Mickeys in back and P Zeros in the front. I would try the MPSC2s up front and see how you do.

The trap speed at PBIR in the right lane run 3 mph slower than left lane.
Has been that way for a while?!?!

Wow that is a big difference

With the right tires you should be at the numbers Mark Blackwell posted.

Karl...how does the car feel otherwise? That trap speed does seem a tad slow, but you're right about that lane at PBIR.

Anyway, if you think we should check it out before the event, feel free to stop by and we'll give it a good once-over for you.

Happy new year everyone! Hey Tom!
I've seen this at several tracks where there will be a few miles per hour different on the lanes. I usually watch which lane all the hot rod guys with the big slicks use. As we have seen 10.3 is almost like a brick wall. You can add Mickey Thompson's and go down to 10.2 or just under. Nine's are no joke. Everything has to be right in the traction has to be good

Traction seems to be a real issue. Mark's 10.19 on GIAC Stage 2+ with ICs and Mickeys and Karl's 10.265 with GIAC Stage 2 with r compound tires are strong times. My best was 10.316 with regular summer rubber (PSS tires) and I had trouble hooking up. Was very frustrating.

I am sure my car will get to the nines but only with a turbo upgrade as I won't add meth.

The 9 second run Tom showed by my friend was with Mickeys.
