Shift-S3ctor EXOTIC AIRSTRIP ATTACK – Feb 27th, 2016
#16
I signed up already. Dunno what car I'll bring or even what mods I'll have. Assumed bolt ons only so I'm in the unmodified class. Upgraded turbos or nitrous requires unlimited class.
Trap speed is one thing, but getting to the finish line quickest determines the winner and the better 1/2 mile car IMHO. While the P1 will take the high trap for unmodified, I would be surprised if it could actually beat a well prepped bolt on 991/997.2 to the finish line. So far no one has an answer in unmodified against the 918 tho.
See you guys there.

Yep, IMHO in order to compete with a Hypercar one needs to have a hypercar OR mod a supercar to the extent of hypercar performance. Option number two will save almost $2 million, based on current resales.
Slaying a Hypercar with a "grocery getter" super car .... priceless!
Hope to see all you guys out there as this will be the first purely exotic car event to kick off the new year.

My car is already out there, but I agree you should. Maybe I'll hitch a ride back if you guys do that.

I would kill to go to this but four thousand bucks shipping round-trip is a lot of money for one event. I'm not that much of a Baller

"Had" work done at BBi. Should be getting tuned in the next couple of weeks then sent home to daddy. Not in a huge rush because I won't be driving it until spring so debated on possibly doing another event out there. Still undecided.
