It was only once I think but it was the technique. You were right there with low 1.5s after you learned the key to getting heat in the tires. If he was cutting consistent 1.4s that would be a different story but I would venture to say he couldn't do that again unless it was another track rental. 1.5s are more realistic on street tires with proper warmup and track prep.

You are right it was once

My 60s got better as the track got warmer.

what are your thoughts of the Nitto NT555r for our rear tires and the NT555 for our fronts? 1/4 mile runs that is....

Super sports are really the way to go. I have them on my 550/550 rwhp/tq c6z and they are much better than any other non track tire I've had.

I would run 255/35/20 front for a road course, preferable MSC2
