Some pretty impressive numbers from the .2 S considering German mags don't use 1-foot rollout or correction factors like C&D for instance.

 

Interesting how in the same magazine the 991.1 is faster to 300kmh than the 991.2 ..

Less downforce maybe?

although the .2 has higher top speed. o.O

Different test,different location , different day. The .2 is supposed to have more downforce which certainly plays a roll . The .2 is significantly faster to 155 mph , and is faster 100-200 km/hr which is all that matters in the real world . 6.7 100-200 km/hr is moving .

 

Cool post. The .2 has active aero so we will see some pretty dynamic effect from it!

#4 numbers looks like it's from the GTR / M6 CP/991 Turbo S comparo test . All the numbers are exactly the same . No way it's same day things are close but not exactly the same . It's also the same yellow press car that C&D got a 10.6 130 trap out of lol so I wouldn't say it's representative of all .1's. So not sure if that's a good comparison . I think they just put numbers from different tests together for the article . Edo tuning car certainly isn't impressive for 660 though .

 

That's a nice step up from the .1 if its accurate. I'm looking forward to more reviews and track times now that they are on US streets.

 

So a stage 2 is faster than a 918 around a track according to these magazine ?
