Does anyone happen to know if this works on the 2016 TT?

I heard it was introduced on the 16.

 

I have it too. thought it was cool first few days...geo fence and speed limiter
however it pretty much just told me if the car exceeded the speed or left the "fence" area

 

What do you pay for that ..I have these features as well as starting capability on 4 of my vehicles with Drone/Compustart all via cell phone/coimputer..cost is install/hdwe about $1200 per plus $120 annual fee...don't think I'll add Drone to TTS as no need for the starting feature...the reason I have on the other vehicles is for winter starting..

 

does the remote start feature work on the 991 turbo? That would be worth it for me.

 

Pretty sure remote start would void Porsche warranty. I don't kniw for sure but I've heard this from several installers that would not touch my previous Porsches, nor most German cars.

I'm sure it would work..most German auto companies claim installing a remote start would void warranty..even MB but I put one on my ML63 with no issues...and it works lika a charm..if I were in extreme heat region or winter driving I'd have one most certainly..

 

Also now MB now provides a remote start feature with their "Mbrace" system..I think it's just a matter of time and all auto companies will offer cell phone remote start/control systems...on-board wifi...etc
