Yeah, this is a heartbreaking Mustang dyno, so please take the "low" number with a grain of salt.
The car has: Kline "loud" exhaust, Cobb/By Design AP, Kline Equal length headers. Oregon 92 octane fuel (with 10% ethanol).
In order to see less/no spark retard, we had to dump a bottle of Torco in the tank on the "93 octane Stage 2 map". The 91 octane map was super happy from the get-go.
I dont have a whole lot to compare it to, but 503/577 is nice and it's certainly fun with the new MPSSs. I think the headers help power, but I do believe that the added efficiency up top means that spark advance isnt as helpful and the 93 octane map seems to create some ignition pull-back. I have a performance box, so I need to measure a few pulls on a secret race track as well.
How many seconds until someone points out how helpful intercoolers would be? Yeah, I know...
Looks good Chris. The baseline is also really nice for a car with bolt ons and no tune!
They're not kidding with the 92 octane in OR. I glanced and it's pretty much in the middle of our stuff. Going to make you a nice custom map. I'll go over all the logs in detail and send you something in the morning you will like!
