msr1 is infamous around these parts
991.1 turbo pdk no sport chrono
Im looking into purchase a 2015 991.1 turbo with pdk but doesnt have sport chrono.

I want to know if the car has launch control?

I thought the Sport Chrono was standard on all turbo cars 2014+


If it in fact has no SC, then it will not have launch control.

That is the party piece of the TT. Look for another one.

Thats what I thought, but this one doesnt have it.

Are you sure it doesn't have it? What does the build look like? Sometimes things can be included in other packages and not listed separately.

For sure. I went to see the car and it doesnt have it. I guess it would still do some type of launch with brake and accel.

It became standard on the 991.2 turbo, but was an option for the 991.1 turbo.

No it won't. It just lurches and sputters. I've tried it in Sport mode. Find a different car.

Does sports chrono matter if you plan to do a tune/exhaust anyway?
