Another ESMOTOR 991TT ES1200 on dyno - 968whp 925 torque
Hello 6speeders,
I had opportunity to spend some time on the dyno last week with another customers 991TT with ES1200 engine package. Here is a summary of the parts on the car; ESM 4.2L stroker engine ESM custom ported heads ESM spec upgraded camshafts ESM Billet intake manifold with additional injectors ESM Fuel pump upgrade ESM complete turbo kit (based on our ES850 kit) Garrett GTX3582 turbochargers (gen1) Syvecs standalone ecu Dodson motorsport upgraded clutch kit The car had pump fuel inside the tank, so i added a can of VP octane booster on it to make sure of the engine safety during our pulls on the dyno. I started with 0.8bar boost (11,6psi) - 607whp 1.2 bar (17,4psi) - 727whp 1.4 bar (20,3psi) - 811whp 1.6 bar (23,2psi) - 876whp 1.8 bar (26,1psi) - 963whp I was very happy with the power curve and the progress that the car made. We are planning race gas tune after summer, will be interesting to see what its making at full boost. Here is a picture of the dyno sheet. As you can see, over 900whp is available from 5000rpm till redline! Cant wait to see this beast on the road, should go sideways when the boost kicks in :D Hope to share some good videos of this car. Emre, you post this like "oh yeah it was on pump so we threw in some octane booster" like it was a stock car with a tune that you were dyno'ing no big deal. You are just way too humble! This is ASTONISHING. I wish I had the money to ship you my car and write you a blank check because I would if I could.

Car is super fast. Should be super fun. But I have to ask. Is this car never going to see pump gas? It's my understanding you want to tune the car with the worst possible gas the car will likely see. But if you tune it with pump gas AND octane boosters and the customer ever drives the car without an octane booster he is prone to get detonation.

That's why it has variable boost.

What's the compression ratio? How much timing are you able to run on pump + octane boost?
900whp from 4.2L on 26# is awesome. 900whp from 4.2L on 26# at 5k revs on pump is... well there's no analogy! |

His complete packages are amazing on all platforms, bit it finally seams like Emre has pushed the 911 DFI platform into the Big Leagues, dealing with the fuel and tune!

Can the trans hold the power? I know your adding different clutch packs ,but mechanically ?
And what did you do for fuel ? Aren't these direct injection ? |

Different boost, different ignition timing, different fueling etc... So it is very flexible in terms of tuning.

BTW, i forgot to write, a stock 991TTS makes between 475-490whp on the same dyno. |
