Review on the Blackvue DR650S-2CH
 

Hi guys,

Recently purchased and installed the Blackvue dashcam, can't be happier, bought it for two reasons, 1) protection for when I am not around and 2) for our outings in Mexico. The quality of the videos is amazing and the playback is very user friendly. Here are some pics of my installation that was done at Rennsport One.

I was thinking about getting the exact same Blackvue front/rear dash cams because of the reviews and occasionally the prices dip pretty low on Amazon. This review is reassuring. Any possibility you can post a video or the front and rear videos?

did you install the battery pack for the parking mode?

Not the battery pack, but the Power Magic Pro...works flawless and no issues with the battery!

Just ordered the Blackvue. Price dropped to it's lowest today at $249. Yeah yeah, i'm a bargain shopper :o

For parking mode, i'm still debating if i should buy the Power Magic Pro or the B-112 Power Magic Battery Pack. With the Power Magic Pro, how long can your car sit until it dips down to 12V and turns off the circuit? My car never sits longer than 2-3 days

16 gig card is a little small...I run a 64 with good results..16 gig left on 24-7 will wear out card in a year or less...not a big deal but just so you know when unit starts "please check the memory card" prompt you can format once or twice in the camera then it will need replacing

I have 4 of these cameras and although they are temper mental at times they are good and provide quite good video...they are in need of some updating tho...i.e fps and resolution are getting dated

Lol, I bought the 128 SD Ultra Card from SanDisk.

That's okay if it likes it...most of the larger (+64) are iffy

The 650 is being replaced by the new DR750S-2CH, hence the reduced price.
