Congrats my friend. Get the spec you want. Your interior choice sounds perfect as it is monochromatic exterior with yellow calipers and gold/magnesium wheels with interior yellow stitching and dont forget yellow belts will set it off nicely. Guages in black dont get crazy with it. Will be insane.

The 720S has already run some good times at the Ring in the hands of very experienced drivers. It's not really faster than the 675LT there. The GT2 RS is miles faster than either. Downforce, huge broad torque curve, light weight, advanced suspension. That record it set last fall wasn't even a concerted attempt, they ran it a handful of times and it beat the 918, so they just called it a day. I kid you not.

Its the same in the UK buddy maybe even worse re allocations with stories about sales managers etc taking back handers and prospective purchasers of these rarer variants taking dealers to court re allocations and winning! I can't see what all the fuss is all about. If Porsche don't want peoples money for a car then so be it lots of other flavours to try.
720s is maybe your answer and then the next 755 LT. Much better buys than the GT2 RS in my view if you want the ultimate rocket ship. I think a 720 S is my next purchase but I spend 90% of my time in hot climates nowadays and not sure these turbo cars are suited to the heat of the Middle East.

You are a very lucky guy! Congratulations on getting an allocation! The Porsche dealership in Dallas is only offering allocations to existing 918 owners. Despite the numerous Porsches I have purchased, still can't get on the list for one. So again, congrats!!

Regarding the 1/2 mile, I guess you will be in the mid to high 160’s in a true 1/2 mile event.
Can’t agree more with Mark’s comments, these cars are meant to be driven.

I've decided to go with the launch color with a few minor customizations. One thing is for sure, I plan to drive the **** out of it. Can't wait to drive the 488 and GT2 back to back. Should be epic!

Congrats on the car! I've literally called over 50 dealerships trying to get one. I finally gave up on it. I miss the days where you could just buy a car at MSRP. Everyone is just trying to flip these cars now days. Looking forward to seeing pics of yours.

Thanks again guys. It’s going be a tough wait. It looks like a January delivery. My MSRP came in at $353k. I have lots of time to tweek it if something sways me. My order won’t lock until early November.

offered my dealer +$65k and he literally laughed in my face. Last I heard, he was asking $150k over. Now I have to start seriously considering McLarens or find another dealer.
