Glass or no glass sunroof?

Glass or no glass sunroof?
I am about to purchase a 911 turboS. There are two similar cars I am looking at. One with glass sunroof the other with plain sunroof. I like the look from the outside of the plain one but from the inside having the window on the roof is nice. What do I do? It seems like the glass is more popular. Am I missing something?

I went glass as I like the light in the cabin and I tied the dark exterior looks in with the black aerokit. I think most choose which of the two sunroof options based on similar criteria.
There’s probably a small weight difference favoring the metal top but if that’s really a concern skip the sunroof. Or change the battery and exhaust to something lighter.

I went with normal sunroof on my Turbo order, mainly because of the weight savings and lower cost, plus I don't care about the light in the cabin and my car will be graphite blue!

Like you I was learning toward a non glass sunroof because thought the non glass sunroof it made the car look wider from certain angles. In the end, I purchased my TTS up with a glass sunroof since I found a low mileage CPO with the color, wheels, and other options I was looking for.
Since owning the car, the glass sunroof has grown on me and the extra light in the cabinet is nice when the roof is closed.
On a side note I find I can use the sunroof more in my 911 relative to my Panamera because almost "wind buffing" in the cabin in my TTS when driving around town.
My car also has a Burmeister radio. If buying new, I would not go with that option because for me its hard to tell the difference between the Boise and Burmeister with the beautiful engine noise in the background.
