Hi all! It’s been a while since I posted. We have been busy and I have so much to share so if your up to it, strap in! I’m so proud of my team and everything we get to do. Our record setting ByDesignStage4 VTG has proven to be the ultimate VTG based turbo upgrade for the 991.1 TT cars. With over 300 out there I can confidently call it a proven, World Class Kit that is record-setting and unbeaten. From Dyno power to 1/4 mile to 1/2 mile it has been unstoppable and held its own against larger conventional turbo kits. So when it came to the next level I really had to bring it strong.

Planning for the Pikes Peak Hillclimb this year Donahue wanted something a little spicier and I jokingly said “Let’s throw a turbo motor in the GT3R this year I’ve been dreaming up a Kit” welp...After a little sticker shock I jumped in. Our team got to it! In less than 5 months we went from concept, to 3D scan, to engineering and design, to testing and development and finally here! On a Street car here in CA thanks to Dane Milligan and the GT3R Race car in Colorado with Porsche. Stock ECU here and Motorsport ECU there. Data, data, data! Our beautiful 3D printed Rocket grade Inconel manifolds are the heart of the design. This is where it all counted. Positioning, if fission C, strategy and practicality even! Manufactured in CA right next to actual rocket parts. Cool stuff! Bolted to them are the amazing, bespoke and first application of TiAL/Xona Echo series mirrored billet SS turbochargers. Thanks to TiAL those were carefully placed in custom made intake and exhaust housings designed for this application. Our good friends and partners in the industry helped collaborate on all of it some from scratch. Aviva with design, Printed Metal did the thing, TiAL covered gas management and lots of turbo goodness with Xona, proven IPD charge piping, a new collaboration with DO88 in Sweden to help us develop an awesome cad designed silicone inlet system, our proven 5.1” Billet intercoolers, Kline exhaust singing as usual, SRM with some awesome and innovative electronics to handle boost and fuel control with the stock ECU, my guys at Cobb AP on board as usual, and my boys at Dyno Spectrum helping pull the strings from street to race and find everything we are looking for from the hardware. World Motorsoprt with the amazing laboratory level fabrication, build and a top notch Dyno has been my headquarters for the last couple of years and we have built quite a friendship and filled a gap in the team we were waiting for! I truly feel we have honored the ultimate Stage 4 with a World Class option for those looking to go next level.


The pikes Peak Hillclimb presents a grueling, demanding and extremely challenging set of requirements. As a hard core test bed we are truly impressed with the results and performance we got all testing and running a stock turbo motor. This means so much for reliability and understanding of the kits limits and potential. We achieved 2nd place in the open class and were testing up till the day before. What a challenge running a stock 991TT motor in a factory GT3R race car and getting it all to be cohesive for 9 hard core minutes at 14k ft altitude! Next year we plan to run a race motor and crank it for the win!


The most important attribute to this package and achievement is efficiency. We have exceeded all of our expectations and are so excited to present this as another option for our friends and clients that we can be proud of and stand behind 100% like everything we offer. Not a single component is there that doesn’t work in optimal synergy with the rest. Below are just a small handful of photos documenting the journey and amazing pieces that make this puzzle complete. There is so so much I’m not showing fabricated by hand, CNC machine in house that we are keeping very close to the cost. If this car goes to a dealership it will look like it came that way and make a few guys scratch their heads! We ran about 900 hp in the race car and we now have a few cars on the street making 1000 hp on a stock engine. I can’t stress how much this means to us to be able to run a hard-core Race Car in hard-core conditions on a stock engine and the confidence that gives us in our set up and and tuning. Stock computer and no auxiliary boost or any other type of outside control! Power can be adjusted to work with a factory clutch or upgraded and the next car we are doing for our friend Mark Blackwell will push our abilities getting all the fuel we can out of the system and letting her breathe a little more to see how much power we make. What’s next? We have fuel ready to go with a very clean simple part injection solution that will no longer be an expensive, elaborate prototype system but more of a plug and play proven/repeatable solution. We have our signature engine package designed in conjunction with our friends John Bray and the Turbo package can be configured to make anywhere from 800 to 1800 horsepower!

Is it a setup for built motor cars or can be also for stock motor ones?

Thanks it definitely did and lots of great people. Those are the turbo brackets we had made. There is lots more laser cut, CNC machined and 3D printed wonders that are hidden.

Thanks for the motivation. This kit can be configured for any use and just about any power level. Stock or built motor thanks to the new Xona technology. Most all testing and racing has been performed on a stock motor. More happening on built motor cars now.
