You do offend when you can't find a proper adjective or clear idea. That's just lazy thinking and typing. If you can't offer anything specific then just don't add to to the thread. Even "Fugly" is a more direct statement then slandering a group of special people.

 

Only thing I like is the longer wheelbase, rear wheel flares and interior. The rest is too passive. FAR too passive. This is a 997.6

 

Wow that colour is pretty cool - like an acid green or lime yellow (will consider it). Anyhow its looking good but its very sleek and missing that stout Porsche look that we have all become accustomed to. I can't believe the great job those stickers do at covering up the lights. I guess we are getting closer to the official release.

The more I see this car, the more I like it. I really hope that the 991 tanks in sales so that there are a lot of left over ones on dealer lots, meaning huge discounted prices for me .

And for the record, the 991 does not look drastically different. I don't understand all these comments about how the 991 is ugly or awkwardly proportioned. Imho, insulting the 991 is indirectly insulting the 997 since the 991 looks very similar to the 997 but with infinitesimally minuscule tweaks. I think the 991 highlights and celebrates the positive attributes of the 997, and I look forward to being a new 991 owner. Just my .02.
