I would be ordering it...love the sunroof. At least there is an option for those that want it and those that don't. Unlike the 997 in which those that didn't want it still had to get it.

Anyone notice that the tires on those rims are Micheleins!!!!! They are yet to be N rated.

 

Aerokit looks awesome and so does the ducktail. I agree with dutch77 that white is going to be perfect and look amazing. I would love to see a white one with aerokit and ducktail.

 

It looks to be long and lean. I am not a big fan. It looks more like the panorama and less like the classic 993!

 

There is something wrong about the proportions, the green house is getting smaller an smaller and the bulging rear wheel arch is not elegant, it looks boxy and kills the flow. The roof line especially how it merges with the side panels is out of proportion... it almost looks like an attempt to build a BMW X6 or perhaps a Panamera shape. The rear of the car also has this 2-stage design from ground up to the engine compartment. It is as bulky as hell to look at and it is just not that "cute" anymore. I think it's a Bangle design ....

 

OMG! That sport design front bumper looks hideous!

Here's what I don't like about the 991 so far:

-Longer wheelbase makes the car look like a limo
-Rear tail lights (too skinny)
-20 inch wheels look stupidly big
-The Porsche poem on the rear bumper
-The interior panel of the doors look too crazy/busy

I love the looks of the 997, no matter what people think. The interior quality may not be so great but I like the simpler approach. The 911 series is supposed to be a true and raw sports car, not a Grand Touring car designed for 70 yo guys who are looking for comfort!
