Just a quick test of the GoPro car mount. Nothing too exciting, we are getting coffee and heading to meet some friends for breakfast this morning in our little town.

 

Very Cool!! Did you get the GoPro Hero 3? I have been looking at them, but haven't ordered yet because I didn't think they have come out with a motorsports/vehicle mounting kit.

 

Right on! We got the GoPro3 Silver edition - with the firmware update last week we can now control it via WIFI and smartphone inside the car!! It's awesome - I have a live audio/visual preview of the camera view on the phone while everything is happening outside. Can turn it on/off, control all settings, etc

The car mount is heavy duty advanced suction cup type and seems to work well, it's right on their website. I was disappointed it did not come with the camera, only two sticker-type mounts are included in the edition I purchased so I've been waiting a week on the mount delivery to try this.

 

I've put it on my fender going over 100mph.....works well
