The UK's Daily Telegraph reviews the 991 Cabrio
|
Not exactly a flattering review of the cab.
"As for which model to choose, you can feel every one of the extra 50 horsepower in the Carrera S" Above should answer at least one of the questions. A steak well done with ketchup! He must have hated it. I would put this in the negative review list, but I am sure many more positive ones will follow. |
Some very selective quoting going on there!

"As for which model to choose, you can feel every one of the extra 50 horsepower in the Carrera S" Above should answer at least one of the questions. The sentence wasn't even finished! The whole paragraph was - As for which model to choose, you can feel every one of the extra 50 horsepower in the Carrera S, but in truth there's only so fast you'd ever need to go on the public road and 0-62mph in 5.0sec and a 178mph top speed do the job. So we'd take the Carrera and save the £10,000 price difference.

Verdict: There is an argument that the latest 911 Cabriolet is becoming more GT than sports car, but it's still a mighty fine machine that will give BMW, Mercedes and Jaguar serious food for thought Telegraph rating: Four out of five stars |

OK, I was quoting selectively, but I didn't need to go beyond that sentence to reach a conclusion. :)
Check out this review, so negative on the corvette vs. 991 in wet conditions, it's unbelievable. http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/..._s_comparison/ |

RE:Check out this review, so negative on the corvette vs. 991 in wet conditions, it's unbelievable. Great write-up and video! Thanks for that. Just why I got rid of my C6 and went back to 911s. ChuckJ |
