I don't know if it is that lighting, but that color looks absolutely AMAZING! That color with two-tone black and dark grey interior would be my choice.

That's exactly what my choice was. It looks even better in real life than on pictures!

It's Platinum Silver. I've posted a few iPhone shots further up. The thing to realize is that PS is not neutral grey. It has a very special warmth to it, that sometimes makes the car look golden in warm sunlight. On a cool cloudy day on the other hand it is more silver. Will post more pictures soon. The backside shot above is at the extreme silver side.

Interesting. I'd like to see that in person. Might make a trip to my local porsche dealer this weekend. Looking forward to some interior shots! Thanks for the info.

That would be GT Silver. same Base car that was on display at the IAA Frankfurt. IMO looks awesome under those lights, not so good in the wild.
Platinum silver is my favorite.

I think that's PS as well. I wasn't at the IAAA but someone I know was and he said it was PS. Someone else on the board said at some point that Porsche hes never shown a GT Silver 991 anywhere. Who knows. My point is, it's really hard to tell in pictures, in particular if the camera has automatic white balance and/or the lighting is odd (e.g. showroom, sunset). You really need to see them side-by-side or at least one color against neutral grey. Attached is a series of crappy shots showing a PS Panamera and a GT 997. There is also a shot showing the back of an iPad on the hood of the PS Panamera. You can also judge e.g. rims against coat etc. but again, photos may be misleading. Just look at Porsche's own car configurator or even the 991 brochure.

The way I talk myself into being able to tell PS and GT apart is by looking at the grain (GT is "grainier") and gradients from specular to dull (PS has a red-gold color band). But again, I may just be kidding myself. :)

Edit: no idea why some pictures come out rotated, sorry.

My boxster was Gt silver.

GT silver has a real linen like gray in the silver. Platinum has that gold hue in it & in that way they are quite different.

this picture was taken to show that the 911 is not dead; it lives on in the 991 and has no feet in that graveyard:

And if I'm not mistaken the GT silver also costs a lot more.

Arctic or Gt silver for me.

I'll shoot pictures with a real camera soon, but just to continue the topic of Platinum Silver in different lighting, here are some poor-quality iPhone shots taken at dusk.

And while I'm at it: I really like the sunroof. Not only do I think it looks cool. There is also no noise to speak of (tried at speeds up to 80 mph) and with the windows open at town speeds, it creates very pleasurable airflow. None of that annoying bellowing sound in your left ear that I'm used to in other cars. Respect!
